Remember the music you discovered us through in the advertisement? We still haven't uploaded it to Bandcamp. But after 4 years of label development, it would be nice to summarize the interim results of the label and the cultural movement as a whole. Taking the example of the artist grust200 -=( band.link/grust200 )=- we took a young girl with a warm and naive single about a lost future (raketa). With our support, she has gained significant recognition over the past couple of years and has become much bolder both as an individual and in terms of socio-critical creativity. Through these few singles (a couple of bonus remixes), you can trace the entire history from the end of the USSR to the beginning of Russia's formation (regardless of your perspective on it). It's actually a huge, unexpectedly formed, and crystallized cultural layer - a transition from the hopeless regret of post-punk music to a socio-critical agenda in alternative rock and a movement towards hyped phonk remixes, like a reflection of the lives of new elites emerging in Moscow, sprouting like mushrooms after rain - against the backdrop of the decline of old pro-Western influencers and the economic downturn worldwide. What worked in 1991 didn't work in 2022.

There are no other specialists on Russia in the West - why? Because none of them actually studied Russian culture, tried to understand or explain it. Every diplomat or exchange program professor conveys the same agenda that has nothing to do with reality, and it's no wonder that reality is falling apart before our eyes. We went through this in 1991, and you can hear it in the music. It's long overdue, actually. We recommend you to stream these singles for free at least for once to fulfil some curiosity and some cultural enlightenment. Money is not all that matters, however the value of our whole (updated) catalog for your intellectual well-being and mood is clear :)
