about

This album is a continuation of a trilogy, the beginning of which was in the previous album "Silicon Structures." It was conceived back in 2017 as a collection of slides from the history of Soviet cosmonautics, about the achievements of that era and the thoughts of the people who filled it. The main goal of the album was to showcase the energy and pace of life of the Soviet people from the perspective of 1975. The album underwent several changes, additions, and grew beyond all imaginable limits. It was decided to divide it into several parts, each reflecting its own location, from which it is interesting to observe what was happening in the Soviet Union based on the feelings of a fictional Soviet observer, a young engineer. The album about space, due to its broad theme, ended up being two-disc. Here is the first part.

In 1975, it's almost impossible to impress a person on the street with flights and weightlessness. Cybernetics, radio waves, automation, electronics, precision mechanics, personal computers, and data centers – all these are ordinary, everyday words. There has been a great leap in science and culture; events have become so dynamic that only the brightest ones are noticeable. The pursuit of brightness is accompanied by new and new discoveries, and the first generation of people born after the conquest of space is growing up during a surge of universal vitality.
The album is about the sensations of perfection of surrounding objects and admiration for their engineering thought. It is a snapshot of the style of Soviet space. An album with audio-photo cards that have stories to tell.
